Choral Evensong
Once a quarter we have Choral Evensong in one of our two churches. This is one of the Church of England’s oldest and most beloved worship services, consisting of readings, hymns, and prayers. A large part of the service is sung (chanted) by the priest and choir, hence being known as choral evensong.
The service lasts between 45 minutes and an hour and takes place at either 4pm (GMT) or 5pm (BST)
Sanctus
At 4pm on the third Sunday we have a contemporary worship service, ‘Sanctus’, with music led by our worship band. This service lasts between 45 minutes and an hour.
The service consists of readings, songs, prayers, and a sermon. Every other month we celebrate the Eucharist (Holy Communion) together.
After the service any members of our youth group who have come to the service meet to socialise and eat pizza.
