We could definitely facilitate a tour of one of the four School Hubs. Christ's College might be easiest - but any would be possible
Mini Hub at St Peter's Farnborough on a Thursday morning is a drop in cafe for parents with very young children. The focus is on building relationships with the parents and carers and sharing Jesus through friendships. There is a similar after school cafe for families with older children. These cafes provide an effective gateway into the deeper life of the church.
Youth Catalyst Project at Christ College - a few hours with Oli Deeks.
An opportunity to spend half an hour with the leaders of Open Hands (Christ Church) - for ministry amongst the neurologically diverse; and Trekkers (St Saviours) - for ministry amongst children with additional needs.
"Guildford Central" - St. Nicks, Holy Trinity, St. Saviours, and Christ Church hits Anglo- and liberal- Catholic, and Charismatic and Conservative Evangelical, then Christ College - CofE Secondary + Youth Catalyst Hub
Godalming Minster - Revitalisation
Aldershot - Military
Egham - Royal Holloway + St John's and potential plant to Englefield Green
West Molesey - Mixed Ecology and Mission
Leatherhead Parish Church - Revitalisation
Dorking - St. John's Primary School - school on the estate
In this order and back to Stag Hill would be about 3 hours drive time - shave off Egham and Dorking, or shave off Godalming its more like 2.5 hours leaving XX hours to be divvyed up per location. Drive also takes passengers through the breadth of Diocesan parochial geography
We assume that they will visit one of the secondary schools that hosts a Youth catalyst Hub Leader. Our suggestion would be Christs College where the school employ also chaplain, so they could meet both.
Some of our Church of England Primary schools are remarkable in the way in which their Christian vision drives all areas of school life.
The way in which the work of the DBF and the DBE is joined up is unusual, we do not hear of it happening in many other dioceses so it would be good to celebrate this by visiting a school where the school and church partnership are innovative and having impact outside the school gates.
We have such schools across the diocese so once you have decided the geographical area that Stephen and Jonathan will be visiting we can suggest a primary school.
St Mark and All Saints Primary on Ockford Ridge would be good. They have an excellent understanding of what it means to be a church school and the impact of their vision runs throughout the school. They work well with local clergy and have a volunteer chaplain, she started following doing FIM!
The obvious answers are St Barbara's Deepcut and Leatherhead (or possibly Godalming). May I suggest for diversity of church tradition, a contrast of either Holy Trinity Guildford which has its youth group and massive youth choir meeting on Thursday afternoon/evenings, or St Michael's Sheerwater

St Saviours Guildford Thursdays Footprints (10am–12pm) A welcoming space for parents and carers of children with additional needs.
